Thanks to Colombian artists Karol G, thousands of fans at the Moody Center in Austin, TX really enjoyed what could be one of the hottest concerts of the summer.
It was the $trip Love Tour that the “Bichota” brought to us accompanied by opening act urban DJ sensation Agudelo888 and sharing the stage with a solid music band integrated only by girls and twelve dancers who dance and jump from one side to another with the singer.
Agudelo888 - Starting The Party
The night started with DJ Agudelo888 who didn’t waste time to make sure his fans had a great time. Playing music from Bad Bunny, Guaynaa, J Balvin, Pitbull, etc. the thousands of asistants couldn’t stay seat. With a Latin hit after another, he left the crowd ready for what was coming ahead.
His set finished with a really young girl jumping on stage with him that holding a sign that said “Puestos Pal Perro”. The DJ hold her up in his arms and sang together with her “Dákiti” from Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez.
Karol G - $trip Love Tour
It was a little bit after 9pm when lights went down and the screams started!
There she was, coming down from the roof in the middle of a heart of thorns, the girl who has become a huge sensation in the last few years, Karol G, wearing nothing but big black boots and an armor body strap that showed her curvy figure.
The singer started her show with sexy song “Gatúbela” that goes something like this “Ay, qué rico Cómo me pone el panty de ladito Ay, qué rico, Ese besito dámelo abajito” We will let you look for the translation dear friends since is very early to be talking like this, wink… wink…
The show continued followed by other great songs such as “Poblado Rmx”, “Friki”, “Pineapple” and “Ahora Me Llama” that shares with Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny.
But, whet it was the turn for hits “Bichota” and “El Makinon” the Moody Center really got crazy. On top of a light blue Ferrari, Karol G was lift up on the air to perform the whole song from top of the Moody Center while fans sang and filmed from below.
Austin's show - One of her Top 10
The night continued with one hit after another, taking everyone through a tour of her different albums during her career to what her fans responded singing and dancing along.
She mentioned she keeps a track of her best shows where she performs and it was very clear when she said that Austin was definitely hitting to be in the Top 10. “I don’t want to leave tonight, I’m having a great time Austin but I don’t have more songs… I guess I’m going to have to repeat some!”
She finished her show with “Provenza”, “El Barco”, international hit “Tusa”, “200 Copas” and “Mamiii” that sings together with Becky G.
We cannot thank enough the Moody Center team for their help during this huge event by making sure we were safe and with great access to cover this show!
