We are a few weeks away from the first edition of Spanish festival ‘Primavera Sound Los Angeles ” and we cannot hide our excitement to see so many great bands in one place!

Organizers made sure to include a little bit of everything and their selection of bands is perfect.

Here are a few acts we recommend you to watch.

Lorde

New Zealand singer-songwriter ‘Lorde‘ has been actively working promoting her 3rd album ‘Solar Power’ and she didn’t limited her efforts to bring it to everyone. She just released the 7th video of this album, yes, 7 videos! Ella will only give 6 shows in the USA before starting a tour in Mexico, South America, Australia and New Zealand. So, this is our chance to see her.

Arca

Venezuelan musician, singer, composer, rapper, record producer and DJ Alejandra Ghersi, known professionally as Arca is literally a Pandora’s box. Her shows are full of surprises and her music is just amazing. Last time we saw her live was during Bjorks tour, were Arca was the producer and programmer on stage. Her collaborations include big names such as Kanye West on Yeezus, Rosalia, FKA Twig, The Weeknd just to mention a few.

Girl In Red

A hard to catch show. Marie Ulven Ringheim spends her time mostly traveling the world with here music. Her shows are a mix of intense and soft feelings and fans always add a special touch to the presentation. Hardcore fans! Totally worth to see her. If you don’t know this girl, “We Fell In Love In October” is one her famous songs if you want to hear it before catching her on stage.

Arctic Monkeys

Currently on a worldwide tour, Alex Turner and company is always a guarantee of a great concert to watch. With only 2 shows this year in the USA, we should be considered very lucky to have the Arctic Monkeys in this festival. Good songs, good performance, what else can you ask for? Well, songs from their new album just announced ‘The Car‘ to be released on October 21.

Little Jesus

From Mexico City we have Little Jesus. They have been considered one of the great promises of the new alternative scene in Mexico. Their “tropipop” sound melds bright, hooky, indie pop, rock en Español, Beatlesque harmonies, and humor. They are currently very active with a USA tour literally playing daily all over.

Nine Inch Nails

NIN - Photo: Nacho DelaGarza

There’s not a lot we can say about Trent Reznor with Nine Inch Nails that no one has said it already. But, if you are hesitating on staying until the end of the festival to see NIN show, please don’t! The second Reznor and company put a foot on stage, intensive magic happens. The adrenaline, the way they seduce the crowd, the sound and the lighting create a combo of emotions you really want to experience.
