As part of “The Tipping Point World Tour” English pop rock band Tears for Fears made a stop at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater in Chula Vista, CA together with another great band, Garbage, commanded by the amazing Shirley Manson and dear friends, it was an amazing night only bands like these can offer!

Garbage warming up the night!

The evening started with powerful song “Automatic Systematic Habit” and Scottish singer Shirley immediately turned on the crowd. Hits like “Stupid Girl”, “Special” and “The World Is Not Enough” (theme from James Bond’s movie with the same name) were among the great set the rock band selected for this show.

A special moment was while playing “Wicked Days” were the band performed a small part of Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” dedicated to Andy “Fletch” Fletcher who recently passed away.

Tears For Fears at their best!

The night was ready for the main course and Roland Orzabal with Curt Smith appeared on stage!

Starting with one of their songs from their newest album, the powerful “No Small Thing” the band engaged the crowd to what was a roller-coaster of great songs.

Of course, hits such as “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”, “Sowing The Seeds Of Love”, “Mad World” couldn’t be left out, but the moment they played “Head Over Heels” was magical.

Their hardcore fans didn’t stop singing for a second. It was a special moment.

To finish the lovely evening, Roland and Curt performed a song that is attached to the 80s, an hymn, the ageless “Shout”!

The band will continue touring in the USA before they start their journey in the UK next month
