A night of funk, synthwave, and ethereal music!

Chromeo’s “Chromes Night Tour” rolled into San Antonio, Texas, delivering a night of vibrant synths, smooth vocals, and infectious grooves. With guest bands The Midnight and Ruth Radelet as the opening act, the energy was palpable from the moment the doors opened.

Fans poured into the Boeing Center at Tech Port, eager for a night of dreamy synthwave, funky electro beats, and feel-good vibes. RUTH RADELET

Ruth Radelet opened the night at 7:00 pm sharp with an ethereal, entrancing set that set the mood perfectly. Her soulful voice carried through the venue with a haunting beauty, captivating the audience from the very first note. Performing a mix of her solo material and some fan favorites, Radelet’s performance was subtle yet powerful.

Her stage presence was magnetic, drawing the crowd into her dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes. Each song felt like an intimate experience, as her vocals soared over lush, ambient instrumentals. The crowd swayed, entranced by her haunting melodies and the emotional depth in her voice.

THE MIDNIGHT

When The Midnight hit the stage at 7:55 pm, the atmosphere shifted into high gear, and the crowd was immediately swept up in a wave of nostalgia and neon-soaked synthwave. The band, known for blending retro 80s synth sounds with modern production, delivered a performance that felt both futuristic and nostalgic. Their set was a sonic journey through shimmering synths, powerful sax solos, and pulsing beats, with songs like “Days Of Thunder,” “Shadow,” and “Good In Red” igniting the crowd.

Tyler Lyle’s vocals were rich and heartfelt, while the rest of the band kept the energy soaring. The Midnight’s performance was a masterclass in blending emotion and rhythm, with each song building on the last to create an atmospheric experience that was as emotional as it was electrifying. The crowd was fully engaged, swaying and dancing under the glowing lights. By the end of their set, the energy in the room was sky-high, setting the stage perfectly for Chromeo.

CHROMEO

Chromeo took the stage with their signature electro-funk swagger, and from the first funky bassline, the crowd was hooked. Dave 1 and P-Thugg were in top form, delivering hit after hit with infectious energy. Opening with “Fancy Footwork,” the duo had everyone dancing instantly.
