Colombian singer and songwriter Camilo Echeverry, most known as “Camilo”, will hit the road this year as part of his North American “De Adentro Pa’ Afuera” tour.
This will include 22 dates in the US kicking off this 27 August of 2022 in New York city and to all his fans in the city, the singer will stop in San Antonio on September 25 at the Freeman Coliseum.
His newest album, that has the same name of this tour, was inspired with the news of him becoming a father. “I’m a dad, but that’s not what this video is about. The fact is that, when Indigo arrived, there were songs, ideas, projects, laughter, the desire to shout, to dance, to jump, to travel, to celebrate… with you, obviously. And I started to think: ‘Why don’t I tell you everything that is coming in 2022, so that we can wait together instead of keeping it a secret?‘” said Camilo on a video posted on his Instagram account.
THE LATIN GRAMMY CULTURAL FOUNDATION® TO BENEFIT FROM SALES OF CAMILO TOUR
In addition, Camilo has pledged to donate $1 from each ticket sold to support the Foundation in its mission to further education for future music makers around the world through scholarships, grants and music education programs.
“I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to support the artistic and creative development of future generations of Latin artists. It makes me incredibly happy because, as these artists grow and have the educational tools for their advancement, we are investing in the future of our sound,” said Camilo. “There is much more talent than there are opportunities in the Latin world, and it moves me to bridge the gap that divides one from the other.”
