FILTER

Filter took the stage first, and they absolutely crushed their opening set. Richard Patrick’s gritty, powerful vocals combined with heavy, pulsating beats set the perfect tone for the night. Opening with their smash hit “Head Like a Hole,” the crowd instantly exploded into headbanging, followed by “You Walk Away,” and “(Can’t You) Trip Like I Do.” The energy was electric as Filter unleashed a barrage of industrial rock anthems. Their set felt both nostalgic and fresh, reminding the audience why they’ve remained such a staple in the genre. The sound was a perfect mix of distorted guitars and eerie electronic elements, creating a hypnotic vibe that had the audience in their grip.

The performance of “Take A Picture” was a standout moment. The song’s softer, more melodic tones provided a brief yet powerful contrast to the heavier, industrial vibes of the night. As soon as the opening chords hit, the crowd swayed and sang along, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere.

Patrick’s interactions with the crowd were full of enthusiasm, pumping everyone up for the night ahead. Their performance was the perfect way to start off a tour packed with icons.

From the moment they launched into “B.D.E.,” it felt like a sonic blastwave hit the venue. The blend of grinding guitars, harsh electronics, and Jourgensen’s snarl was a perfect storm of industrial metal fury. Each song like “Goddamn White Trash,” “Just Stop Oil,” and “Stigmata” felt like a rallying cry for chaos, as visuals of dystopian landscapes flashed behind them.

Ministry’s unrelenting energy had the crowd moshing, screaming, and fist-pumping like there was no tomorrow. They delved into a mix of classic songs, all with that signature Ministry edge.
