Barry Manilow, the iconic 81-year-old singer & songwriter who has shaped the sound of pop music for decades, embarked on a series of “The Last” concerts in different cities across the nation that promised to be a final, bittersweet farewell to his legion of dedicated fans and tonight was the turn for thousands of fans who gathered at the Frost Bank Center to enjoy the last concert in San Antonio.

Known for timeless hits like “Mandy,” “Copacabana,” and “Can’t Smile Without You,” Manilow has long been celebrated for his ability to craft songs that resonate with deep emotion and nostalgia. This concert, billed as his final one, carries the weight of years of memories, both for the artist and his audience.
