A night full of Pop and Romantic songs

Last night, San Antonio, Texas was graced with an unforgettable evening of music and emotion as the Mexican pop band Matisse took the Aztec Theatre stage as part of their “Bella Nostalgia World Tour.”

Together with opening act Ana Sofi, the two bands delivered a fantastic performance to the hardcore fans who even drove from different cities to see them playing live… and they didn’t disappoint!

ANA SOFI

The evening started with the unique and beautiful presence of Monterrey, NL singer Ana Sofi whose captivating voice and charismatic presence set the perfect tone for the evening. Her performance was a delightful blend of soulful ballads and upbeat tracks, warming up the crowd and leaving them buzzing with anticipation for the main event.

As the lights dimmed and the first notes played, it was clear that this was going to be a night to remember.

MATISSE

Matisse took the stage to thunderous applause, immediately captivating the audience with their signature blend of harmonies and infectious energy. The band with the incredible singer Melissa Robles and guitar players Román Torres and Pablo Preciado, opened with “Imposible Amor,” “Primer Avión” and Todavía”  instantly drawing fans into a sing-along that echoed throughout the venue.

Their connection with the audience was undeniable, as they effortlessly transitioned between heartfelt ballads and lively pop anthems. Each song was delivered with such passion and precision that it felt like a personal performance for every individual in the crowd. Highlights of the night included their emotional rendition of “No Disponible” which had the audience swaying and singing with eyes closed, completely immersed in the music.

The band members interacted frequently with the crowd, sharing stories behind their songs and expressing genuine gratitude for the unwavering support.

The chemistry between the band members was palpable, and their joy in performing was infectious. The evening was filled with unforgettable moments, including a surprise regional set with songs of Selena Quintanilla, Bobby Pulido, Joan Sebastian, and Intocable which was met with roaring approval.

The sound quality was impeccable, ensuring that every note and lyric resonated deeply with the audience.

As the night drew to a close, Matisse left the stage to a standing ovation, having delivered a performance that was both exhilarating and deeply moving. Their “Bella Nostalgia World Tour” stop in Texas was a resounding success, leaving fans with memories to cherish for a lifetime. The evening showcased not only the incredible talent of Matisse but also the vibrant spirit of their fans, who sang, danced, and celebrated in unison.
